100 people.
500+ postcards.
PostTrotters has reached 100 active members, and more than 500 postcards have now been generated through the platform.
Every community starts somewhere.
I started PostTrotters because I wanted to create a small corner of the internet that encourages people to spend a little less time online and a little more time in the real world.
It took 2.5 months of reaching out, following up, and staying patient to get to the first 100 members. There were many unanswered messages, people who weren't interested, and moments when I wondered whether this idea would find its people.
But 100 people said yes.
And together, the community has now generated more than 500 postcards. Each one represents someone taking a few minutes to slow down, put pen to paper, and send a small piece of their world to another person.
TROTTERS
A little slower. A little more human.
A postcard doesn't arrive instantly. It asks you to choose your words, write them down, add a stamp, and let the message make its journey.
That's the point.
In a world that moves faster every day, there is something special about making room for a moment of genuine connection.
