How Postcard Requests Work
A different way to send and receive postcards, separate from the random postcard exchange mechanism. You can request postcards based on your interests or choose requests that you would like to fulfill.
Postcard Requests
Postcard Requests give you a way to ask for a postcard based on your interests. Any active member can create up to three requests, whether or not their postal address has been validated.
Browse Postcard Requests
All active members can browse available postcard requests. When you open a request, you can see the country the request comes from and the description written by the person who created it. The person's postal address and other personal details are not shared.
Express Interest
If you find a request you would like to fulfill, you can express your interest in sending a postcard. The person who created the request can review your profile before deciding whether to accept or decline your offer.
Accept or Decline
The requester can see your name, country, and can visit your profile before deciding whether to accept or decline your offer. If they decline, the request remains available for other members. If they accept, the requester's postal address becomes available to you so you can send the postcard. Until an offer is accepted, the requester's personal details remain private.
